Biography
I watched my very first live magic show at 12 years old and I’ve been performing and interested in the art ever since. I soon joined the International Brotherhood of Magicians; and over the next two years, began attending monthly meetings in Upstate NY, numerous magic conventions. I established a presence in the wedding market, and performed a number of full-length shows (45-60 minutes) at various community and not-for-profit events. At 14, I moved to Branson and became a student of Doug Henning’s prodigy- an award-winning grand illusionist in his own right. One year into our mentor-student relationship, I became a nightly feature in his show. By 18, I had been featured in Magic Magazine as well as The Linking Ring magazine, performed at almost every established theater in town (between 500-1000 guests depending on venue), and was asked to headline the International Brotherhood of Magicians’ “Rising Star” show held in Dallas that year.
At 20, I began to pursue magic as a career. While developing my strategy to go full-time, I produced, co-wrote, and performed in 4 different collaborative shows, produced Kirby VanBurch’s close-up magic show, directed Zak Mirzadeh’s platform show, and ran the business side of my career. My last running contract was a Grand Illusion show for Wyndham Resorts where I performed a 60 min show every Saturday evening. I quickly realized just how saturated the Branson market was and over the past year I have focused on the corporate market traveling nation-wide.
