Biography
Freddie B possesses a deep, rich, distinctive baritone. Smooth and oh-so-soothing….when closing your eyes, you’re reminded of great jazz vocal icons such as; Lou Rawls, Lionel Richie, Will Downing, Michael Buble, Sam Cooke and the great, Billy Eckstine. Hence, the moniker, Mr. B is generally used by his friends and peers.
Because he is a talented and unique stylist, he leaves his audiences mesmerized and inspired with his fresh approach and renditions. As a result, Freddie B sold out multiple performances of his self-styled vintage show entitled “Sentimental Journey”, a performance paying tribute to legendary singers Billy Eckstine and Sarah Vaughn. His sold out shows came amidst rave reviews that led to him becoming a headliner at the famous Las Vegas’ Sahara-Hotel Casino.
Other Las Vegas venues include The Sun Coast Casino, the Aliante and others as well as, Resorts Casino in Atlantic City and many clubs and venues in Chicago, Freddie’s home town.
