If imitation is the sincerest form of flattery, then Steve Van Zandt really knows how to give a compliment! Since 1978, when at the age of 19 he garnered a perfect 30 point score on NBC TV's "Gong Show", Steve has been dazzling audiences across the country with his amazing talent for mimicking famous people. Today he is regarded as one of the best comic- impressionists on the comedy scene. Steve's one-hundred-plus characters and unique style of stand-up can be seen in top comedy clubs, resorts, on cruise ships, and at corporate events.
He also regularly appears as the opening act for major performers such as Michael Bolton and Howie Mandel and he has twice been featured on the ABC television show, "America's Funniest People".
In addition to his work on stage, Steve has a successful background as a radio personality, having co-hosted two “morning drive" radio shows. On a national level, Steve has written and produced material for the Premiere Comedy Network and the American Comedy Network, two of the largest suppliers of humor to radio stations coast to coast. Steve's versatile vocal cords are often utilized in the area of radio ads, TV ads, and industrial voiceovers for hundreds of companies throughout the country. Much of this work has been honored with national and regional advertising industry awards. His experience in this field has led Steve to write and produce humorous commercials on a free-lance basis for ad agencies and businesses directly.
